ETHICS OF LOVE
Tetralogy bell hooks about a surprising source of social change as published in Internazionale

“All the great social movements for freedom and justice in our society have promoted the ethics of love. The pursuit of the common good for our country, community or neighbor grows out of the value of love – it is thanks to it that we look for ways to care for and defend good. If all public policy were created in a spirit of love, we would not have to be afraid of unemployment, homelessness, addiction, we would not have an education that children could not learn anything.”

Hystrio – Dance

Hystrio

Dance

                                        BEHIND THE SCENE

The new scene of the italian dance

When Hystrio magazine asked me to work on their new issue cover I was trilled.

Dance is one of the greatest artistic expressions of beauty and energy that a human being can put into action. I immediately imagined the translation of this force into colors.

Of course, what better inspiration than the work of the artist Matisse and his collages, as well as photos of contemporary Italian dancers that the Hystrio issue deals with.

INSPIRATIONS

A source of great inspiration were the entire Matisse researches especially that on the dancing figures.

And aesthetically, I have carefully observed his collages.

Causette – Rwanda women

causette

hors-séries

This issue is dedicated to 20 stories of the women who revolutionized politics.

Those women who survive

These are two illustrations created for Causette Hors-Série.

In Rwanda the parliament is almost for the most part female. Women occupy more than half of the ministries.

The article is written by Morgane Pellennec.

Le Monde – Idées

Le Monde

Idées

The metamorphoses of progressivism as published in Le Monde, Idées.

The image was inspired by the beautiful and iconic images of Metropolis, Fritz Lang’s film.

I wanted to convey the idea that in the future, human and social progress should go hand in hand with technical progress. A new vision is needed on the part of the politicians and we all need to look beyond.
